| These three drawings have, as you can see, no stroke. Representation by only shapes is potencially minimalist. We wanted to stress this aspect, using fast & imprecise shapes but recalling (by lights and shadows) all the main features to transmit a sensation , ant not only an image. The use of few colours (5 in the first two portraits and 4 in the last) imply a chromatic conscious choice, aimed to transmit a determined expression (respectively: malice, innocence, introspection). |
